Three Hilarious Bong Cartoons That Will Make You LOL
If you think about it, most comic strips are made for people who own a bong or two. Those who partake in the occasional smoking session tend to be more laidback. They can enjoy the more delicatethings in life. For instance, many funny bong comics you can easily find online.

Nevertheless, there are a few bong cartoons that are intentionally written to be read when you are prepped and relaxed. For the uninitiated, below are a few of the funniest bong comics that you should bookmark for the next time you want to whip your bong out:

Good 'Ol Classic: Popeye

Popeye is easily one of the most recognizable comic characters in recent history. Debuted on the King Features comic strip, Thimble Theatre, in 1929, the 'ol sailor is almost a hundred years old.

For those who have been living under a rock for the last century, Popeye is a one-eyed sailor who gets into various hijinks in the span of four to eight panels. The sailor has superhuman strength which he gets after consuming his trusty can of spinach.

Conspiracy theorists (otherwise known as folks who like occasionally smoking up) have explained that Popeye's spinach might not be spinach at all. Always with a pipe, Popeye's exploits isan excellent example ofan early bong cartoon.

Hipster Pick: Pizza Fella

Neal Warner's name might ring a bell especially for those kids who enjoyed Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Warner has been in the animation industry since the early 1970's. However, unbeknownst to many, he is also an excellent comic book artist who penned the cult favorite, Pizza Fellas.

There is no mystery to what Pizza Fella was all about. It follows the adventures of a teenage pizza delivery boy as he traverses 1970s L.A. To paint you a picture of this landscape, Pizza Fella was first published around the time Cheech & Chong released their first album.

There are bong cartoons on Pinterest that you can easily find with a few clicks. However, if you have the time, delving into the classics like Pizza Fella is always a good idea.

Three is Just the Right Company: The Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers

Similar to Pizza Fella, The Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers is an underground comic series released during a peak in bong culture. The comic series, which first debuted on The Rag in 1968, feature hippies from San Francisco - Freewheelin' Franklin Freek, Phineas, T. Phreakers, and Fat Freddy Freekowtski. Contrary to popular belief, The Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers are in fact not related at all.
