How to Use the Hyer Big-E Rig

Dabbing the traditional way can be intimidating because of the torch. Electric dab rigs take away the need for an open flame, but you have to stick close to the socket. If you want to enjoy your dab rig without playing with fire and have the freedom to move around, the Hyer Big-E is the one for you.

What is the Hyer Big-E Rig?

The Hyer Big-E Rig provides torchless dabbing by converting your dab rig into an e-Rig that you can carry and pass around with your friends. The base has a clamp that holds your dab rig firmly with silicone traction grips, so you won’t have to worry about your water pipe sliding off. The Big-E can accommodate about 90% of dab rigs that has a base of 2.5in-5.2in in diameter and 0.3mm-10mm thick. It has a wide temperature control ranging from 320°F–750°F, but you can crank it up to a Beast Mode of 900°F. It takes about 3 hours to charge and has a pass-through system so you can use it while it’s gathering up juice. The Big-E also has safety features such as auto-shut off when it’s not in use or if it gets knocked over, preventing burns on your table and your carpet.

How to use the Hyer Big-E Rig

1. Charge the unit for 3 hours so you can take advantage of its portability.


2. Position the base so that the clamps are horizontal. Twist the knob at the side of the docking station counterclockwise to widen the clamps.


3. Insert the dab rig by sliding it from the back of the unit and underneath the clamps, pulling it towards you as you do so. This gives you more control and visual than sliding and pushing it from the front.


4. Once the dab rig is dead center, twist the knob clockwise until the clamps are snug. Wiggle the dab rig to double check the tightness of the clamps.


5. Connect the banger to the heating element by gently twisting and pushing it inside. If you have a large dab rig, connect the extension cable to accommodate the unit.


6. Insert the banger with the heating element to the dab rig and connect the power cable to the base.


7. Turn on the unit by pressing on the power button for 3 seconds


8. Use the buttons at the side of the LED to set your temperature.


9. Get your dab read on the dab tool while waiting for the unit to warm up. It takes about 50-90 seconds for the HYER Big-E to reach the desired temperature. Your dab rig will glow green at the base when the Hyer Big-E is ready to use.


10. Hold the dab rig around the water chamber, or grip the base at the side with your hand to lift the dab rig to your lips.


11. Draw from the mouthpiece and place your dab inside the banger and cover with the carb cap.


12. Inhale and enjoy.

Things to consider:

Avoid getting the Hyer Big-E wet as this can damage the unit. Make sure that your dab rig is filled with water and completely dry on the outside to prevent water from dropping to the unit.

You can keep the Hyer Big-E Rig on the table if you feel that it’s stable that way. However, the goal of Hyer Big-E is to give you freedom of movement so don’t hesitate to take advantage of its flexibility.
