Black, slick, stylish, yet highly functional, the G Pen Elite from Grenco Science is an affordable dry herb vaporizer that you can carry around with you almost anywhere. It weighs about 88 grams, which is nearly as heavy as an average bar of soap. At 4 inches long, it fits snugly inside the palm of your hand for discreet vaping.
What’s unique about the G Pen Elite is the innovative 360 conduction oven that vaporizes your herbs in a pinch. The heating element is made of ceramic, which is known for heat stability and tasty vapor production. The oven can hold as little as 0.1 grams of herbs for micro-dosing or one-hitters. However, the chamber can accommodate up to 0.4 grams of herbs.
The G Pen Elite has a 2,200mAH battery that has a charging time of 2-3 hours and can last for 45-60 mins of use. That’s about 3-6 full packed chambers. Of course, how long you can use it will depend on the temperature setting of your G Pen Elite. A 5-button click turns on your unit, but you do need to press the power button longer to fire up the chamber. When some portable vaporizers caution against using standard cellphone chargers, the G Pen Elite can support 2A charging. You don’t have to look for then empty USB slot or prioritize between your small cellphone and the G Pen Elite for charging.
Small as the G Pen Elite is it can go from 200°F-428°F by using the buttons at the side. The LED display at the side tells you what temperature your G Pen Elite is on. Once you fire it up, the G Pen Elite takes about 20-30 seconds for your pen to heat up, and it does cool down rapidly to conserve your herbs.
The G Pen Elite does a great job in vaporizing your herbs and has a good capacity for a vape pen so small. You have fast, convenient charging, and it’s a perfect pen for discreet vaping.
The vapor production does much to be desired for cloud chasers. Also, even with the 360 conduction chamber, you still need to mix your herbs a few times to get even vaporization and prevent burning. The short vapor path is also not enough to cool down vapor so the flavor may be a bit harsh for some.

If you’re looking for a discreet dry herb vape pen that is simple and has a low learning curve, we highly recommend the Atmos Jump. Sporting a carbon fiber housing, the Atmos Jump is one of the efficient and durable portable vaporizers in the market. Some have experienced accidentally dropping their Atmos Jump a couple of times. They’re happy to see that the vaporizer is still solid and ready for the next session. Unlike other vaporizers, you don’t have to treat the Atmos Jump like a baby whenever you use it. The best feature of the Atmos Jump is that it’s easy to use that makes it perfect for beginners. You control the heat by pressing on the power button as you draw. The chamber is made of anodized steel and functions as a convection vaporizer for combustion-free vaping. It takes about 7-10 seconds to heat up, so you don’t have to wait long before vaping.
The battery has a 1200mAh capacity that you have to charge for 2-3 hours. One charge will give you 30-40 minutes or 5-6 vaping sessions on average. Usage time is pretty low if you’re going to compare it to the charging time.
Vapor production is decent. It’s not too thin, but not thick enough to satisfy those who are after dense clouds. The flavor is excellent, but some find that the character of their herbs doesn’t last too long in the vape.
Aside from being easy to use, the Atmos Jump is easy to maintain as well. Its carbon fiber housing makes it suitable for those who tend to be clumsy, or prefer to bring a vaporizer with them outdoors.
The chamber, although efficient in vaporizing, does have a limited capacity. You have to refill the chamber now and then to extend your session.
Big Daddy Smoke: $265.05
Many love the Storz & Bickel Crafty because it’s known to produce good clouds with lots of flavor. Most vapers who love the functionality of the Mighty but dislike its size often choose the Crafty. It’s a lightweight, discreet vaporizer that you can comfortably bring with you in your pocket.
The Storz & Bickel Crafty is one of the modern vaporizers improved by technology. It’s got a rugged appearance that looks much like a walkie talkie. It’s smaller than the average mobile phone and weighs as much as a baseball or a size D battery. The chamber can hold about 0.3 grams, which can give you 4-6 hits or more per load depending on whether you’re a “sipper” or a “ripper.”

If you want to get both flavor and bold rips from a vaporizer, the Crafty can deliver. Hits are really flavorful and smooth, yet the effect goes down deep. If you’re looking for a discreet vaporizer that will blow you away, this is the one for you.
The Storz & Bickel Crafty is highly known for providing smooth and great-tasting vapor. This piece hits hard, which is a challenge to achieve for small vaporizers. It has an effective cooling chamber that smoothens the vapor without taking out the original terpene flavor.
Most have problems with the short battery life and the fact that the battery irreplaceable. You have to send it for replacement, which can be pretty costly if it’s past warranty. The long heat-up time can also be a problem if you are vaping in a hurry.

Made by PaxVapor, the Pax 3 has an elegant and discreet design created with portability and vaping efficiency in mind. It’s only slightly longer than the DaVinci IQ and almost as wide as the length of your thumb.
Compared to its predecessor, which is the Pax 2, the Pax 3 has several notable upgrades. It has a concentrate insert an upgraded battery of 3500mAh capacity. You can charge the unit for 1.5 hours and get almost an equal usage time of 1.5 hours more or less. That’s about 140-180 hits per charge.
You have 4 temperature options to choose from, ranging from 360°F–420°F. Heatup time is also faster, around 15 seconds, which puts it in place among the quickest heating vaporizers in the market. It has several heating modes that are good for beginners, a quick session, flavor and vapor production, as well as battery saving. You can access these modes easily through its app.
The chamber has a capacity of 0.15g-0.20g of dry herbs when you use the half-pack lid, and 0.30-0.40 with a standard lid. A full pack can give 15-25 draws per session. Unlike the previous vaporizers, the Pax 3 comes with a flat mouthpiece, which for some find easy to draw from and less limiting. When it comes to vapor production and flavor, you can depend on Pax 3. It’s known as the standard-setter of portable vaporizers, so you can expect thick clouds and satisfying flavors.
This awesome vaporizer has haptic feedback which gives off a vibration to let you know it’s good and ready. You can also customize its function through an app for convenient vaping control. In terms of the warranty, the Pax 3 tops over other portable vaporizers because of its 10-year warranty.

If you’re fond of using your vaporizer with your bong, you should get the Hydrology 9 by Cloudius 9. It’s an innovative vaporizer that comes with its own water chamber for fresher and smoother vaping.
The water chamber does not come without a price, however. The Hydrology 9 stands at a tall 9 inches and has a circumference of 4 inches. The unit also weighs 14 ounces, almost as heavy as a soccer ball. The Hydrology 9 is definitely a handful to carry around.
You get a 2000mAh battery with your Hydrology 9 that requires 2-3 hours of charging. You can use it for 90 minutes, which is roughly 15 sessions before recharging.
Choose between five pre-set temperatures by pressing on the power button. However, there’s no telling exactly what temperature these settings are at. Each temperature setting is indicated by its own LED light.
The chamber is made of a ceramic conduction system, and the capacity leaves a lot to be desired. A full chamber can accommodate 0.2g of herbs, and the limited size is suitable only for solo or quick sessions. You need to refill the unit repeatedly if you want longer sessions or wish to share with friends.
With the hydraulic system, you’d be expecting serious vapor production with the Hydrology 9. Unfortunately, the visible vapor is standard. However, the water does effectively smooth out the irritation from the vapor, even on the highest setting. If you find that dry vaping is an issue for you and you don’t want to bother taking out your bong, we recommend getting the Hydrology 9.
The water chamber is really helpful in cooling down smoke, lessening the harshness for those who wish to vaporize on high temps but can’t stand the heat. It also has a built-in stirrer, so you don’t have to open the unit to mix your herb.
Forget discreetness when you carry the Hydrology 9. It’s big enough to get noticed. Chamber size is also limited which makes sharing the device a no-no. You also have to make sure that the water is level as tilting interferes with the water function.

Big Daddy Smoke: $331.55
The Mighty dry herb vaporizer is the first portable vaporizer created by Storz & Bickel, makers of the legendary Volcano desktop vaporizer. It’s been dubbed as the mini Volcano because of its efficiency in vaporizing herbs.
Unlike the previous portable vaporizers, the Storz & Bickel Mighty is quite big. It’s 5.5 inches tall, 3.2 inches wide, and about 1.2 inches thick. It’s roughly the size of an iPhone 6s, but it’s broader and thicker in comparison.
The Storz & Bickel Mighty comes with a pair of built-in 18650 batteries that takes 2 hours to charge fully. The vaporizer can give you about 90 minutes of vaping or 8 full ovens. If you run out of juice, the Mighty has pass-through charging so you can vape while it’s filling up.
The Storz & Bickel Mighty has a temperature range of 104°F–410°F, which you can control through buttons located beside the LED. Once you set it to temp, the unit takes about 50 seconds to reach temperature. The secret to the Mighty’s efficient vaping is through its hybrid oven, which is a mix of both convection and conduction heating mechanism. Your herbs vaporize through direct heat and hot air at the same time for consistent vapor that tastes the same up to the last hit.
The oven can hold 0.05g of herb, which it can vaporize well for micro-dosing. You can fill the chamber with 0.2g of herbs, which can last you for 8-15 hits, depending on how softly or deeply you draw from the unit. Don’t be discouraged by its plastic airflow. The Mighty is made using medical grade materials, and the plastic mouthpiece doesn’t give off any unpleasant plastic taste or smell. All you get are satisfying, thick clouds of tasty vapor. No one can complain about the quality of vapor of the Storz & Bickel Mighty.
The vapor quality is excellent, and the unit is easy to use. You can control the temperature settings easily, and there’s moderate to low draw resistance.
The size and weight, however, takes out some points in portability and discreetness. It’s a bit big to grip, which can cause discomfort for those with small hands.
Big Daddy Smoke: $569.10
You have two types of Volcano desktop vaporizer from Storz & Bickel: classic and digital. We like the Digital better because it gives you better accuracy in terms of temperature control. Coming from the Classic, the Volcano is seen as one of the most durable and long-lasting vaporizers ever.
If you’re looking for something heavy, sturdy, and big and performance, then have a look at the Volcano Digital. It’s 20 inches tall and as wide as a dessert plate. You bet, it covers quite a lot of space on your table, and quite heavy too at 4 lbs. About as heavy as a full bottle of Heinz fridge-door ketchup.
You get one of the most accurate and stable temperature control for vaporizing in the Volcano Digital. You can set the temperature to 104°F –446°F and increase or decrease by 1° increment. It does take 3-5 minutes to heat up depending on your set temperature. Because it’s a desktop vaporizer, the Volcano Digital needs to be connected to an outlet to vaporize. However, by collecting vapor inside an inflatable bag, you have the freedom to move about the room or house and even share with friends. In about 2-3 minutes, you have a bag full of tasty, satisfying vapor. You don’t have to fill the bag all the way. You can fill it as little or as much as you want, depending on how long you want your sesh to be.
The chamber is wide enough to vaporize up to 0.5g of dry herbs and 0.10 grams of concentrates. This is good enough to fill the bag to capacity, which can give you 4 nice draws. You can also limit the load in the chamber by adding the concentrate pad. The vapor that you get with the Volcano Digital has unparalleled consistency and quality. The convection type oven really does a good job in vaporizing your herbs, and you won’t get any burnt flavor no matter how high you set your temperature.
The bag is airtight and can store your vapor for up to 8 hours. If you’re the type of person who needs to get medicated round the clock, you will definitely benefit from the Volcano Digital. It also has a pad for concentrates so you can add a deeper layer of flavor and experience.
It does come at a hefty price, which is something that most vapers cannot afford. The Volcano also has a bit of a learning curve, and you can only use balloons. You have to get the Volcano Hybrid if you want the flexibility choice of switching between a balloon or a whip attachment.

Big Daddy Smoke: $312.55
A fusion of portability, efficiency, and style, the Firefly 2 is one of the chick yet potent dry herb vaporizers in the market. It is a 2-in-1 vaporizer, but the Firefly 2 is far more effective as a dry herb vape. At 5.1” inch in length and 1.4” inches in width, it’s almost the size of a ballpen and as wide as a standard belt. It’s very lightweight, about the same heaviness as the Storz & Bickel Crafty.
The 770mAh lithium-ion battery of the Firefly 2 needs 45 minutes to charge. One charge can last you for 8 bowls, or 64 draws. If you run out of juice, simply swap with the extra battery and extend your session.
The temperature range of the Firefly 2 is impressive. You can go from 200°F– 440°F for herbs, and a maximum of 500°F for concentrates. It takes about 3 seconds to heat up, which you initiate by taking a draw through the mouthpiece.
You get dynamic convection heating technology with the Firefly 2. The bowl also has a capacity of 0.1g-0.2g, which can give you between 2-8 draws per bowl. It’s a perfect vaporizer for small as well as lengthy doses.
The Firefly 2 delivers one of the smoothest, comfortable rips that you can get in a vaporizer. It gives thick clouds of smoke that is highly satisfying even for cloud chasers.
The Firefly 2 has an all borosilicate glass air path to keep the vapor clean. The unit heats up only when you take a draw from the mouthpiece. It also has an app control for the efficient and precise vaping experience.
Of course, there are some drawbacks, even with this beautiful piece. The extra battery needs to be charged in the unit, or you have to buy a separate external charger. You also have a bit of a learning curve when using the Firefly 2. Some make a mistake of going on concentrate mode, probably in hopes of getting big, thick clouds. However, this setting is for concentrates only so it’s really going to burn your herbs. There’s also the need to train yourself to draw slowly and softly through the mouthpiece to prevent cooling down the chamber.

The Arizer Extreme Q wins over the Volcano Digital in terms of price, swift delivery, and remote control. It’s a desktop vaporizer that you can use both whip and balloon attachment for vaping. It’s smaller and lighter than the Volcano Digital. It stands 7 inches almost as tall as a pencil, and as wide as a dollar bill. For a desktop vaporizer, the Arizer is fairly light. Weighing 370 grams, it’s only a touch heavier than a can of soup.
You get a ceramic heating element that comes with a glass attachment that suspends your herb inside the vaporizer. The convection-style system eliminates the need for stirring your herbs. The chamber has a 0.5g capacity. A full balloon can give you 4-7 draws. If you’re using a whip, that will depend on whether you turn on the fan or not, as well as the temperature of your unit.
Vaping on low and high temps is easy with the Arizer Extreme Q. The vaporizer has a range of 122°F–500°F, with pre-set temperatures available for convenient vaping. Heat up time is 2 minutes, which is considerably faster compared to the Volcano Digital. It has 3 fan speeds to regulate how quickly you want the vapor to travel up the whip or balloon.
The flexibility of the Arizer Q as well as its affordability made it one of the best vaporizers to get. It’s highly effective in giving satisfyingly thick and flavorful clouds with the minimal waiting time. This vaporizer is also one of the quiet desktop vaporizers you can get.
The Arizer Extreme Q is not as durable as a Volcano and can get pretty hot after a long period of use. The fan is not as strong and fast as the Volcano, so you may have to wait longer for the balloon to fill up. It’s also a chore to clean, so always remember to clean up after every use to prevent buildup.
Big Daddy Smoke: $295.60
You will always see the DaVinci IQ among the top list of vaporizers and for a good reason. No other vaporizer this size can function as well as the DaVinci IQ. Its 3.5 inches tall and 1.65 inches wide, roughly the same size of a calling card but narrower. At 145 grams, it’s like you’re holding or carrying a flat baseball. Unlike most modern vaporizers, the DaVinci IQ has no LED screen. Instead, it has a series of LED lights to show battery life, unit mode, as well as temperature.
The compact design belies the high-capacity 18650 battery. With the DaVinci IQ running at 3500mAh, the battery can run for 70 minutes after a 3-hour full charge. One full charge can last for about 5-6 sessions. You can charge the battery while it’s attached to the unit while using it, or use a separate external charger.
The oven is made up of ceramic and has a 360° conduction heating. You can fill the chamber up to 0.3g of finely ground herb, or use the IQ Glass Spacers for smaller doses. It does have a bit of draw resistance, but not as much as the Firefly 2.
You have an effective temperature range of 250°F – 430°F with your unit that you can adjust in 1° increment through the use of an app. It takes about 16-30 seconds to heat up and has a haptic or vibration feedback to tell you it’s all set to go. The vaporizer is called the DaVinci IQ for nothing. This little vaporizer has a Smart Path that allows you to set several temperatures automatically. You don’t need to manually adjust the heat throughout your session if you want varying levels of vapor. This means each puff will be at a different temperature compared to the next after 10 minutes.
You get great vapor production with the DaVinci IQ. The thick clouds are full of flavor, something that you won’t expect from a conduction vaporizer. Each draw definitely hits the spot, and some users get their vaping needs after 4-5 draws from the DaVinci IQ. If you want a smoother experience, you can use the 10mm adaptor to attach it to 10mm rigs.
The 10-year warranty definitely makes it a worthy investment. It's easy to clean, and the ergonomic shape makes it one of the most comfortable vapes to use for long sessions.
The highest temp can make cause your unit to get hot at some point. The buildup is hard to clean, and there’s a tendency for the ball on the door to get lost.
Buy the DaVinci IQ here now.

Pros and Cons
The vapor quality is excellent, and the unit is easy to use. You can control the temperature settings easily, and there’s moderate to low draw resistance.
The size and weight, however, takes out some points in portability and discreetness. It’s a bit big to grip, which can cause discomfort for those with small hands.
4: Storz & Bickel Volcano Digital Desktop Vaporizer
Pros and cons
The bag is airtight and can store your vapor for up to 8 hours. If you’re the type of person who needs to get medicated round the clock, you will definitely benefit from the Volcano Digital. It also has a pad for concentrates so you can add a deeper layer of flavor and experience.
It does come at a hefty price, which is something that most vapers cannot afford. The Volcano also has a bit of a learning curve, and you can only use balloons. You have to get the Volcano Hybrid if you want the flexibility choice of switching between a balloon or a whip attachment.

3: Firefly 2
Pros and cons

2: Arizer Extreme Q
Big Daddy Smoke: $189.99
Pros and cons
1: DaVinci IQ
Pros and Cons
The 10-year warranty definitely makes it a worthy investment. It's easy to clean, and the ergonomic shape makes it one of the most comfortable vapes to use for long sessions.
The highest temp can make cause your unit to get hot at some point. The buildup is hard to clean, and there’s a tendency for the ball on the door to get lost.
